The decoration of the hotel was absolutely delightful, with beautiful furnishings and a cozy atmosphere. The common areas were well-maintained and provided plenty of comfortable seating for relaxing. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was, with easy access to all areas and no stairs to navigate. It made my stay very comfortable and convenient.
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have more assistance available from the staff. While the children working there were friendly and helpful, having someone specifically trained to assist older guests with any mobility needs or special requests would have been an added bonus.

The house is ideally located with brilliant views on to Slieve Donard. Excellently furnished with plenty of space and high speed WiFi. Personal touches for our daughters including reading books and chocolates. Short walk to the main street and easy driving distance to local attractions.
Felt immediately at home, no complaints.

Lovely clean towels, quiet location, off-street parking, priced fairly, great information from Colin and Lorraine. The view of the Mountains from the front of the house was simply stunning. It felt like being in the heart of nature, surrounded by majestic peaks that made me feel like a tiny ant in comparison. The sight was so breathtaking that it made me forget about all the stress of everyday life. It was truly a feast for my eyes.
Limited bathroom amenities.

The property at Mournes Snug was like a home away from home, with a great selection of books and activities for rainy days. the location was ideal for our group of 6, as it was right on the St Patrick's Way and other walking trails. It was also only a short 10-minute walk to the center of town and the beach. the heating and hot water were top-notch, and there was enough for all 6 of us to take showers in a row. it was a lovely property with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We had an amazing stay at Mournes Snug. The value for money was excellent and the room was clean and beautifully furnished. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the main street and promenade. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even leaving special treats for our kids. We can't wait to come back!
The only thing that could make the breakfast even better would be to have more variety in the food options.

I stayed at Mournes Snug Villa during my recent transit in Newcastle and was impressed with a couple of features. the location was incredibly convenient, being just 60 km away from the nearest airport. This made it incredibly easy to reach the hotel after a long day of travel. the facilities provided were a lifesaver, especially considering the wet weather during my stay. Having a hot house and water available made it possible to dry our clothes and shoes for the next day. The clothes horse and radiators worked brilliantly, ensuring we had wearable clothes despite the rain.
While my overall experience was pleasant, there was one minor issue that I encountered during my stay. The TV in the room was a bit temperamental when it came to adjusting the volume.
